At Saint George's Primary Phase, we offer good quality before-school childcare. We aim to provide a nutritious and filling breakfast which will prepare your children for their school day. We are committed to providing equal opportunities for play and participation, and we will ensure that your children have a safe and happy time at Breakfast Club.

We encourage children to use Breakfast Club as a social opportunity and at the same time to learn about the benefits of healthy eating. We all sit around the breakfast table until we have finished eating, and then quiet play or activities are chosen.

Timings

Breakfast Club is open every weekday during term time, excluding Staff Development Days, from 07:30 to 08:35. Your children can be dropped off at any time between these times and the Breakfast Club staff will then take them to their classroom at the end of the session. If your child wishes to have breakfast at the club, they must be in school by 08:00. Children enter the Breakfast Club via the hall entrance to the right of the main entrance. Parents/Carers are responsible for signing their children into Breakfast Club each time they attend. 

Pricing

Breakfast Club has a fixed daily cost of £4.00 per day (£3.00 per child for siblings), which includes a breakfast of toast, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, milk or water. The cost does not change depending on the time your children arrive. Booking and payment are required in advance via the Arbor app.

After School Club at Saint George’s Primary Phase aims to provide a friendly, safe environment for children, with a wide range of activities both inside and outside depending on the weather. Children will also be given support with their reading, as well as support with phonics and maths through fun and engaging games and puzzles.

Children staying until 16:30 will be provided with a choice of snacks, such as a homemade cookie, cake or a fruit pot with a drink of milk or water. 

For those staying until 18:00, a light evening meal will be provided, such as rolls, wraps, beans/spaghetti on toast, fresh fruit, water, milk and water. Any special dietary needs are catered for, and the menu has been designed to complement the midday school meal with healthy eating in mind.

Timings

After School Club at Saint George’s runs every weekday during term time, excluding Staff Development Days, from 15:10 to 18:00. Children will be taken by staff from their classrooms to the Club at the end of the school day.  Children can be collected from the After School Club at any time, but sessions must be booked until either 16:30 or 18:00. 

Pricing

£5.00 per day until 16:30 (£4.00 per child for siblings).

£9.00 per day until 18:00 (£8.00 per child for siblings).

These costs are fixed according to the collection times mentioned above. Booking and payment are required in advance via the Arbor app. A late fee of £5.00 per 15 minutes will be charged for any children collected after 18:00 to cover staffing costs.
